Is dijon mustard healthy?

And high FODMAP foods are everywhere! Anything with dairy falls under the high FODMAP category. Wheat does as well. Dijon mustard does not – as long as you don’t overdo it.

Who can benefit from a low FODMAP diet? Anyone who wants to reduce stress in their digestive system. That may sound like you if you’re having a painful or uncomfortable time after eating certain foods. Fortunately, there’s no need to cut Dijon mustard out of your diet if you choose to follow this diet.

There’s a reason why Dijon mustard is low FODMAP. It has nothing that will upset your digestive system. Other known condiments, such as ketchup or mayonnaise, are the same. So you know you’re not going to miss on flavor when you decide to go low FODMAP!

If Dijon mustard prevents heartburn, it may have to do with its lack of vinegar. Then again, it’d be better to avoid eating it if there’s even a small suspicion of having a hard time after you do!
